The path to Tranquility (spring)
24. We need to graduate from the School of Life
In the journey of life, we will always encounter various difficulties and challenges. This not only examines whether we can realize the value of life, but also tests our understanding and attitude towards life. Fierce competition in the workplace can make people feel stressed, conflicts in the family can make people exhausted, and sudden health problems can disrupt the rhythm of life. If we cannot withstand these storms, then at the end of life, we may only be able to look back on the past with regret, resentment and unwillingness. But if we can face it with a positive attitude, learn and grow from it, we can eventually bid farewell to this journey with peace of mind and satisfaction.
Longevity is everyone's wish, so a healthy life is particularly precious. In order to achieve this goal, we must wake up from confusion and take care of our basic living needs in time. A balanced diet, regular exercise, and regular health checks are all key measures to maintain good health. Longevity is not just about extending time, but also gives us more opportunities to experience, grow, and connect. Imagine that a long-lived elderly person can have more time to accompany their loved ones, cultivate hobbies, and even start a new journey of life learning. These are all priceless gifts given by life.
Anything that brings us peace and joy is worth cherishing; on the contrary, some experiences, even if they promote our growth, will eventually damage the overall quality of life if they cause anxiety and pain in the long run. For example, a stressful friendship may be a wake-up call, but if it cannot be improved, it is better to learn to let it go. We must learn to accept past choices and behaviors, learn from them, learn to forgive ourselves and others, and let the past truly be the past. Self-acceptance and emotional regulation are closely related to health. When we can face past failures calmly instead of blaming ourselves, we can unload the burden in our hearts and face tomorrow more easily.
Looking back at the difficulties we have overcome, we also know that the future is still full of uncertainty. By increasing our awareness of death, we can transform our inner anxiety and fear into cherishing and being grateful for our current life. Taking death education courses and reading related books can help us understand the nature of death and learn to prepare for the death of ourselves or our loved ones. Such understanding can not only reduce the fear of the unknown, but also allow us to focus on the present, so that we can gain peace and satisfaction at every stage of life.
Only by knowing how to face the past and the future can we more easily see the real needs of the present. Connections between people are an indispensable element in life, but emotions, habits, and even personal desires often become obstacles. A person may be alienated from his family because of stubbornness, or it may be difficult to expand interpersonal relationships because of shyness. Everyone's experience is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Therefore, we must learn to adapt to the environment and interact with others with respect and understanding. For example, when we disagree with a friend, instead of rushing to refute, it is better to listen to the other party's point of view first, which often opens the door to harmony and resonance.
Life is like a school, and controlling your body and emotions is like taking an exam. Only by bravely accepting the test and answering the questions by ourselves can we get a diploma. We cannot copy other people's answers, because imitation may lead to mistakes or even losses. Friends' success may be admirable, but blindly applying their experience often cannot replicate the same results. Therefore, we need to set personal goals and constantly reflect to promote self-growth. For example, reading, writing experiences and reflection every day can not only improve abilities, but also bring wisdom and courage to face challenges.
Laziness will eventually cost us. After all, we only have one chance to live, and if we miss the opportunity now, no one can predict whether we will have another chance. Therefore, we should make full use of every moment, prioritize, focus on important things, and don't get bogged down in trivial matters. Using time management skills can help us improve efficiency and leave room for rest and relaxation. Today's choices are often the seeds of the future. Developing a good lifestyle may determine our health in ten years. It can be seen that the test paper of life not only tests our knowledge and experience, but also tests our consciousness and foresight.
Only by handing in excellent answers in the test of life can we prove our maturity. This means that we can stay awake and rational at all times, live freely and happily, which is also the best interpretation of longevity. The deepest respect for life is to experience it deeply, and then leave it easily and without regrets. People who are enthusiastic about public welfare find the meaning of life in helping others; artists experience the value of life in their creations. There is no fixed answer to the test of life, but we can all leave our own unique way of answering questions by pursuing our ideals, contributing to society, and accompanying our loved ones. In this way, we can write down the answer to the ultimate meaning of the journey of life on the answer sheet of the final exam of life.
